Clark County Arts & Culture Summit

Help shape the future of the arts in Clark County.

Join us for “Creating a Voice,” the inaugural Clark County Arts & Culture Summit!

On March 3, 2012, the Clark County Arts Commission and the Arts of Clark County, a 501c3 non-profit, are hosting this community conversation, and we need you to be a part of it.

Please join us at Fort Vancouver's Artillery Barracks, for a one-day summit designed to bring the Clark County arts community together to begin the work of building our future, together.

Background:

In April 2011, the Washington State Arts Alliance held its annual Cultural Congress at Skamania Lodge. Despite the wealth and diversity of artists and arts organizations here in Clark County, Southwest Washington was not represented at this major event. The four people from our area who attended learned that we are invisible in the statewide arts community. This invisibility stifles our access to Washington State resources and those of our close neighbor, Portland.
We have incredibly talented people here, working in all area of the arts. Working together, we can highlight, support, and grow our arts community, and become recognized for the great work that is done here every day.

Help shape our future. Join us to build a vision for the future of the arts in Clark County.
