Oregon Society of Artists, OSA, and Oregon Maritime Museum, OMM, will sponsor a joint art show “The Great Nautical Art Show 2” during April 2013. To provide paintings for this show I am scheduling several paintouts along the Willamette River front this fall.
**Hillsboro is hosting its annual Plein Air Paintout Sept. 14-15, all day. Reception 3pm, Saturday, Sept. 15.
Tuesday Sept. 11, 10am to 2pm, Paint Hillsboro to practice for the weekend event. (Meet at Starbucks across from Washington County courthouse about 10:10 am. We will find a place to paint from there).
Friday/Saturday, Sept. 14-15, Hillsboro Plein Air, Register ahead of time by calling 503-615-3485. The cost is $40 in advance, $45 on Friday Sept. 14th. Check in and reception are at the Walters Cultural Arts Center 527 E Main, Hillsboro, OR

Wednesday , Sept. 19. 1-4pm, Portland Steamer Paintout. I will be near the steamer where SW Pine crosses SW Naito and disappears into the Willamette River. You can paint anywhere along the waterfront.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday Sept. 21-23, Sarkis Antikajian workshop will be held starting at OSA, 9am Friday morning. Cost is $300 for OSA members or $330 for non-members. There are 2 or 3 places left in the workshop. If you would like to enroll let me know. There is a cap of 15 students for this workshop.http://www.
