I enjoy the painting of the park singers! In my old age, I have decided there is not "good" or "bad" composition....It is all just personal composition of the moment and situation. I feel that if we follow the rules of good composition, we get static, predictable compositions that are apt to gain approval of other artists going by the same roles. If we allow ourselves, without predetermined divisions , the painting itself dictates what will be and it is spontaneous and natural. Of course perhaps that is why my paintings do not sell....At any rate, I do enjoy the composition of this painting!
