Paint Out Notes, June 7, 2018 Chinook Landing

Today was an overcast and at times downright chilly day...but we all loved the Paint Out at Chinook Landing! (Thank you to our host Tim Young). Some of us had some issues finding the park, but when we did Tim was standing right there near the entrance about to begin painting with his extra long handled Rosemary brushes.

Everyone did awesome paintings and it was great to line them up at the lunch break for some discussion.

Our next Paint Out is scheduled! Mark your calendar for Thursday June 21, 9am. Our host will be Jim Syfert. (Thank you, Jim!) We will meet in his part of the world at Cooper Mountain. We'll update with an invitation from our blog and on Facebook too.

Jim Syfert, Our "Host" for Cooper Mountain, June 21 9am*

Thanks to everyone for coming out today and for making our first Thursday without O'Connors a really fun day!

Some of us had "trouble" with Siri / Google maps today and others reported better results using Waze navigation. We might consider Waze for future directions.

* 9am is the recommended time, but come as your schedule permits, bring all your painting/sketching gear and a chair and a lunch.

If I didn't get a good shot of your painting email it to me and I'll upload the preferred version. Thanks again everyone! celesteobergin (at)gmail (dot) com

We'll update soon pertaining to a breakfast meeting location (We have a tentative spot, but we need to talk to a key person).  Follow the blog/and/or Facebook for updates.
