Paint with Brooks Hickerson, here is his itinerary for JUNE

(A Message from "Plein Air Brooks"): I have added a paintout calender to my blog, pleinairbrooks.blogspot.com. Page all the way to the bottom and it should be there. (Editor's note: we also added it to this blog, scroll to the bottom). My cell is 541-520-1423. Call me if you come to one of these paintouts and cannot find anyone. Backup plan is to get your paints out and be the first one there. June is Rose Festival and Fleet Week...lots of ships.
Upcoming dates:

June 7, Thursday, Paint the fleet from the Vera katz East bank esplanade. Meet at the Vera Katz statue near Hawthorn bridge at 10am.

June 8, Friday, Paint the fleet from the west bank, meet 1pm on the bike trail north of the Morrison Bridge. the HMCS Oriole will be there.

June 9, Saturday, Paint the Dragon Boat Races from the east bank north of the OMSI. Noon- 3pm.

June 10, Sunday, reception for OSA Juried Rose show, 1-4pm at 2185 SW Park Place.

June 14, Thursday, 1-4pm, Paint the roses at the Rose Test Garden in Washington Park, (Washing Park Shuttle will be running every 20 minutes).

June 16, Saturday, 1-4pm , Paint more roses at the Rose Test Garden for next year's Rose Festival show.

June 17, Sunday, deliver 3 paintings to Lakewood art center, Lake Oswego, this show is always a good event.

June 21, Thursday, Cornell Farms, 8212 SW Barns Rd. across from Oregon Arts and Crafts. 1-4pm, but you can come early and eat lunch across Barns road at Oregon A & C

June 22, Friday, Reception for Lakewood Art Festival, 6pm, always a nice affair.

June 23, Saturday, Steel Bridge from the south side, Near NW Davis and NW Naito. 1-4pm. Steel Bridge is 100 years old this year...so we have to paint the Steel bridge.

June 28, Thursday, Steel Bridge from the North, in front of McCormick Pier Condos. 1-4pm.

June 30, Saturday, Steel Bridge from the North, in front of McCormick Pier Condos. 1-4pm.
