Oregon Society of
Artists is excited to have Max Ginsburg from the Art Student’s League of New
York joining us for a demonstration and lecture.
Max Ginsburg will
paint the figure from life in the alla prima tradition. He will describe his
procedure, the observation of form and color and his sculptural painting
technique while he is painting. You will be encouraged to ask questions.
After the painting
demonstration there is more! Stay for a retrospective presentation on Mr.
Ginsburg's lifetime of painting. (His book will be available for sale).
(*demonstration and
lecture included in Workshop participant cost)
If you have not been
able to register for the Max Ginsburg workshop, this one-time
demonstration/lecture is a rare opportunity to learn from Max Ginsburg in a
small and intimate class setting.
Max won The William
Draper Grand prize in the portrait Society of America painting Competition in
2015.
Since 1953 Max
Ginsburg has exhibited extensively in public venues and galleries and has won
numerous awards. Long admired as a teacher, Max continues to teach at the Art
Students League of New York as well as workshops in the U.S and abroad.
