The Thursday Drawing Club

The Thursday Drawing Club... It's a weekly meeting, and you are invited. We'll assemble to sketch/draw after the regular/routine art discussion meeting is over. This gives us a chance to hone our drawing skills while having an informal conversation (if we want). It's all just for fun and no stress.

Here's how it works...after the regular meeting (generally around 10:15-10:30 am) we'll meet at a within walking distance from O'Connors:

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Regular drawing materials--Sketchbook/paper/pencils/pens/watercolor optional

Q. Can I come if I didn't attend the regular O'Connor's meeting?
A. Yes, and it is "drop in" also, so no worries if you arrive "late".

Q. What time should I get there?
A. Approximately from 10:15 - 10:30

Q. Where?
A. We meet at Medley Tea, 7881 SW Capitol Hwy (if there are not enough seats, the alternative place is Village Coffee)

Q. How long will The Drawing Club session be?
A. Anywhere from one hour to two hours.

Q. Do I have to buy something?
A. It is customary to purchase some tea or something. :)

Q. What if I don't know anyone there?
A. Just come up to anyone who has a sketchbook and introduce yourself..then grab a chair and draw with us!

The Thursday Drawing Club (Updated)

The 2nd Thursday Drawing Club begins Thursday, December 11. It's a weekly meeting, and you're invited. We'll assemble to sketch/draw after our regular/routine meeting is over. This gives us a chance to hone our drawing skills while having a 2nd informal conversation (if we want). It's all just for fun and no stress.

Here's how it works...after the regular meeting (generally around 10:30-11:00am) we'll meet at O'Connors to walk to a nearby location. (We have to remain somewhat "fluid" about where to go, since nearby places have unpredictable seating available).

Q. Can I come if I didn't attend the regular O'Connor's meeting?
A. Yes, and it is "drop in" also, so no worries if you arrive "late" (but you'll need Celeste's cell number to catch up with us, so email her * for the number if you don't have it).
