National artist Craig Srebnik discusses the challenges and career choices that artists face, including selling your artwork, pricing, selecting and working with galleries, prints, advertising, publicity, competitions, clients, commissions, artists' societies and art fairs.

Oil Painting: Concepts, Principles & Techniques
Wednesdays n 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
A long-term program that covers all of the elements of planning and executing paintings: concept, composition, shape, value, color, edges, paint quality, brushwork, artistic unity and effect, and studying the Masters. While applying the concepts, principles and techniques of painting a broad variety of subjects, students will be guided towards cultivating their artistic voice.
n The courses are open to artists of all levels.
n 6 weeks: $180, Drop-ins: $40/class; plus model fee if applicable
n Classes are ongoing--Terms are for accounting purposes only
