Paint out with Host Jim Syfert, Friday the 13th 9am, Sauvie Island

Join Host Jim Syfert on Friday March 13th 9am *at one of our favorite spots on Sauvie Island across from the Sauvie Island Dog Kennel. (Yes, there will be barking)! :)

Meet Jim on Sauvie Island at what has been called the Dike Road across from the Dog Kennel. (Buy a parking pass at the Grocery).

Take Reeder road to the parking lot across from Sauvie Island Kennels (the parking lot is plain to see). We’ve learned that this location has an official name, “Raccoon Point”

Bring all your gear, a chair, your lunch, water, etcetera --an umbrella is often nice! (it's Rain or Shine) At Noon---tell us about your painting during lunch. All levels welcome.  *( you can get there when you want, 9am is just a suggestion). We'll see you there!

Paint out, Wednesday, Oct 17, 9am at Grice Farm with co-hosts Mike Porter & Jim Syfert

Paint out Wednesday, Oct 17, 9am, at Grice Farm (near Cooper Mountain Park) with Co-Hosts Mike Porter and Jim Syfert

The address of the farm is 10405 SW Grabhorn Road, Beaverton, 97007 (MAP)

The farm entrance off of Grabhorn Rd. has a large wooden archway with a metal “G” sculpture over the entrance dirt road and a sign for U Pick Walnuts.

Thanks to co-hosts Mike and Jim for arranging this Paint out. The farm is privately owned by Steve and Beth Grice. (Be sure to say hello if and when you see them)! Painters are welcome there all day. Steve is an amateur artist himself and does metal work art.

There are old derelict buildings, a windmill, an old yellow farmhouse, chickens, peacocks a couple of horses, old cars out in the fields, an old tractor…on an on. Restrooms on site and drinking water. Also picnic tables (bring your lunch to go with the noon art discussion). All media and all levels welcome.
