Sellwood Park Paint Out, Wed, Nov 14, 9am with host David McBride

Meet Host David McBride on Wednesday, Nov 14 at 9am at Sellwood Park for a Rain or Shine Paint Out. David will position himself where he'll be easy to find! Sellwood Park has lovely views of the River and some beautiful fall foliage. Bring your lunch, an umbrella is always nice...bring a chair too. We'll "discuss" our art at noon.

Here is a special treat for us...Kat Sowa has invited us to paint at the Blue Bee Farm. (Normally, David McBride is our regular Wednesday host, but this time look for Tim Lally---he will be at the Cracker Barrel store at 3pm). An alternative is that you can find your own way to Blue Bee Farm yourself anytime after 9:30 am.

Join me for WEDNESDAY paint outs on Sauvie Island 2013

Unless I’m out of town or have an issue, I’ll plan to be at the little store on Sauvie Island a little before three pm on Wednesdays (for most of the summer).  There is a bulletin board of sorts on the wall outside the store where we will post our intended location for the day.  The map at that location should guide any late comers.  If there is confusion or someone needs help finding us, my cell is 503-307-3065. 

Sauvie Island is on hwy 30 west about 3 miles from the St Johns Bridge.  The little store is just to the left after you’ve crossed the bridge on to the island.  I hope to see you there.

Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery Artist Plein Air Paint Out

Time and Location: From 12-5pm on Sunday August 19th in the outdoor sculpture court and in the SW Park Blocks adjacent to the Portland Art Museum

Artwork by participating artists will be available for sale via RSG representatives.

This is also Family Day and a Free day at the Museum! There will be a table set up in the court yard for children to paint outdoors too.

Koi Fusion and Salt & Straw food carts will be on site selling snacks and ice cream
